Barclays (BARC.L), RBS (RBS.L) - Ratings agency Standard & Poor's downgraded several U.K. and German banks, including Barclays, now rated "A negative". Closing Prices 261.55p; 352.6p (Reuters)

Weir Group Plc (WEIR.L) – Said that Q2 is proving to be very challenging for their oil & gas division. Minerals, the group's largest division, continued to demonstrate resilience in subdued markets. Closing price 1922.00p (Reuters)

Tullow Oil (TLW.L), Royal Dutch Shell (RDSB.L) and BP - Oil prices rose as U.S. inventories look set for a draw and after the Energy Information Administration (EIA) raised its 2015 oil demand growth forecast. Closing Prices 371.30p, 1897.00p and 441.35p (Reuters)

Easyjet (EZJ.L), International Consolidated Air (IAG.L) - Abolishing its tax on air travel could boost Britain's economy by 1.7 percent by 2020, British Airways and EasyJet said on Wednesday, calling on the government to go beyond recent concessions on the duty. Closing prices 1563p, 518.5p. (Reuters)
