Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY) - Britain's finance ministry said on Monday that it would launch a sale of shares in Lloyds Banking Group to private retail investors in the next 12 months. UK Treasury also sold another 660m shares, reducing its stake to <19% . Closing Price 87.77p (Reuters)

Vodafone (VOD) Bharti Airtel said Vodafone had sold an indirect stake in the company for 12.80bn rupees. Closing Price 255.35p (Reuters)

Plus 500 (PLUS) and Playtech (PTEC) - Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi's Playtech Plc said it agreed to buy retail forex trading company Plus500 for about £460m pounds. Playtech said it would pay 400p per share, an 8.1% premium to Plus500's Friday close. Closing Prices 370.00p and 830.00p (Reuters)

Barclays (BARC) - Investment bank Stifel Financial Corp is in advanced negotiations to acquire Barclays Plc's U.S wealth management unit, according to three people familiar with the situation. Closing Price 270.00p (Reuters)

WPP (WPP) -  British-based advertising company WPP Plc may face opposition from its shareholders at its annual meeting on June 9 over Chief Executive Martin Sorrell's 43mn sterling 2014 compensation, the Financial Times reported. Closing Price 1540.00p (Reuters)

Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) - Has appointed a former Maersk Oil executive Jon Ferrier as its new chief executive. Closing Price 37.50p (Reuters)
