BT (BT.A.L) – In talks with the owners of EE, Orange and Deutsche Telekom, about buying Britain's biggest mobile network operator. BT has been in talks with both EE's owners and O2-owner Telefonica since late November. The deal would cost around £12bn in cash and shares. Closing Price 398.00p (Reuters)
Domino Printing Sciences (DNO.L) – FY pre-tax profit hit £56.5m versus £17.7m one year ago. FY revenue up 4% to £350.2m. ‘We remain cautious about 2015’. Closing price 640.00p (Reuters)
Imagination Technologies (IMG.L) – Reported a 75% drop in adjusted H1 profit, reflecting heavy investment in its product line. Adjusted profit of £3.3m for the six months to end-October, down from £13.2m a year earlier, on revenue of £82m, down from £85m. Closing Price 189.75p (Reuters)
Rio Tinto (RIO.L), BHP Billiton (BLT.L) and Anglo American (AAL.L) – Activity in China's factory sector shrank in December for the first time in seven months. The flash HSBC/Markit manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) fell to 49.5 in December from November's final reading of 50.0. Closing Prices 2616.50p, 1276.00p and 1098.50p respectively. Vodafone (VOD.L) – Will get C$850m ($726m) in Canadian trade financing to help it buy enterprise services from BlackBerry Ltd, Ottawa said on Tuesday. Closing price 213.20p. (Reuters)
