Land Securities Group (LAND.L) - Reported a 20% rise in half-year adjusted net asset value from a year earlier, helped by buoyant demand for its commercial spaces. Closing Price 1111.00p (Reuters)

Taylor Wimpey (TW.L) – The firm, which built 11,696 homes last year, said it would deliver an increase in operating margin of 400 basis points (300 basis points previous guidance). However, it said the housing market was steadying as sales rates from June 30 until the present day fell 5% on 2013 at 0.60 sales per outlet. Closing Price 117.30p (Reuters)

Carillion (CLLN.L) - Awarded £800m contract for regeneration programme. Closing Price 344.30p (Reuters)

BP (BP..L) - Has failed to persuade a federal judge to oust the administrator overseeing pay-outs to businesses and individuals claiming damages arising from the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill. Closing Price 439.60p (Reuters)

Vodafone (VOD.L) - Nudged its forecasts for core earnings higher after reporting a sharp improvement in its main quarterly revenue measurement as demand for mobile services improved in its big European markets. Closing Price 207.85p (Reuters)
