Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS.L) - Says now expects to significantly outperform its previous guidance of £1bn in total impairments. Closing Price 361.40p (CNBC)

Next (NXT.L) - Will have to lower its full-year profit forecast if the country's unusually warm autumn weather continues. Closing Price 6865.00p (Reuters)

ICAP (IAP.L) - Said first-half revenue was expected to be 10 percent lower than a year earlier as low levels of volatility kept trading volumes suppressed. Closing price 395.7p. (Reuters)

Wolseley (WOS.L) - Posted a 8.6% rise in annual profit (£761m v £750m expected by analysts), said it would hike its dividend by 25% and would launch a £250m share buyback after strong U.S. trading. Closing price 3257p. (Reuters)

Saga (SAGA.L) - H1 group profit before tax on a like-for-like basis up 14.9% to £106.5m (2013: £92.7m) H1 profit before tax, after IPO expenses and one-off cost of new debt, of £32.8m (2013: £92.1m. Strong cash generation leading to a reduction in net debt ratio from 3.1 at initial public offering to 2.5 as at end H1. Closing Price 172.20p (Reuters)
