Persimmon (PSN.L) – Private sales up 25% in first 15 weeks, forward sales £1.87bn, revenue up 35% from 2013, forward sales 7,200 homes for 2014, sold about 5,000 homes under Help to Buy, “the new financial year has started well”. Closing Price 1265.00p (Bloomberg)

Quindell (QPP.L) – Q1 gross sales of £162.9m v £167.3m (2013) Q1 adjusted EPS of 0.82p v 1.1p (2013) Confident that upper end of market expectations should be achieved for full year for 2014 Closing Price 37.00p (Bloomberg)

Tesco (TSCO.L) – FY trading margin 5.17% vs. 5.1% expected, “uncertainties remain in industry” 6% fall in annual profit to £3.32bn vs. £3.23bn expected, FY UK sales declined by 0.1% to just over £48bn, however “strong growth in online UK grocery” Closing Price 286.30p (Bloomberg)
